Hey! I'm Jalyn.
I ask why and why not, a lot.
I’ve been a person-of-the-internet since the late 90s, and at the end of 2019, I decided to finally start penning down and publishing my thoughts online.
Right now, I'm on a sabbatical from the corporate world.
At the end of 2024, I decided to pull away from what I know best — being a cog in the corporate machine — to ask some Big questions:
What happens when I turn my skills as a product designer inward, treating life itself as the most important product I’ll ever create?
What if I decouple my value and impact from my productivity at work?
What does it mean to live a full stack life?
…Full stack?
Glad you asked 😉
It's my way of thinking about life through five key layers, through the design process I know so well:
Strength: Building physical, mental, and financial health to create the foundation for doing what you love
Thought: Cultivating grit, focus, and a minimalist, growth-oriented mindset while understanding why our brains work the way they do
Alignment: Ensuring your actions reflect your purpose and values
Connection: Thriving in meaningful relationships (even the one you have with work!)
Knowledge: Committing to continuous learning, building habits, and managing resources to grow in life and career
(Yes, they spell out “stack”.
Yes, I spent a while trying to make it work.
And no, I will not apologize for loving acronyms in frameworks 🫡)
Let's get in touch:
